About Broken Arrow Bicycles
A 1960's Campagnolo Velox rear derailleur.
Broken Arrow Bicycles was born as a result of my discovering and pulling a Redline BMX bicycle frame out of a dumpster behind our local thrift shop.
At the time I was recovering from a serious blood pressure (and who knows what else) episode. For years as a software developer I'd spent long hours sitting in front of a computer getting practically no exercise. My inactivity finally caught up with me.
The discovery of the Redline frame basically inspired me into a new career, with the help of my wife, Elizabeth. I began rebuilding old and/or damaged bicycles, which led me into restoring rare vintage bicycles... mountain bikes, road bikes, just about any type of bicycle enthralls me these days. I'm also delving into acquiring and restoring rare vintage bicycle parts - as funds allow.
Most of all I enjoy learning all I can about bicycles! Each one so far has a different story you can read as you dismantle, clean, repair, and then put it back together for a new life, as it were... I get to ride them all!
