Bridgestone Comp MB-1

This legendary Bridgestone MB-1 arrived on our doorstep unrideable. It had been stored for many years and the grips were melting, the tires were flat, and the lubricant had dried from the components and bottom bracket. With all this, it was still obvious that it had been a well-taken care of bicycle. Once cleaned and lubricated the Shimano Deore XT components work like new.
This bike's fame is well-deserved, its very lightweight Tange steel construction and geometry
make it a very stable and comfortable ride.
If it fit me, I would keep it.

Ross Centaur

Our Ross Centaur 12-speed road bike was like something from that movie 'The Andromeda Strain' when it arrived. Anything synthetic had long ago disappeared from the bike. Tires, handlebar tape, and cable housing just did not exist. In addition, it had been left in the sun and the decals were cracked and faded.
Nevertheless, the Shimano Light Action components were still in good shape, very good quality components.
We ended up totally repainting the Ross, having new decals made by Mark Hayes at Stickershock23.com, in addition to
cleaning and lubricating all the components - and it just came out beautifully. I even rebuilt the wheels, discovering in the process that I have an affinity for building bicycle wheels.
